Software Engineer @ Pix4D (2021 - Present)

Started as an Intern and progressed to a Professional Software Engineer, gaining valuable experience in production software development, machine learning workflows, and technical leadership.

• Work on developing and integrating software features, using technologies like C++, Python, and Qt.
• Build and maintain the behind-the-scenes systems that keep everything running smoothly, from quality checks to performance monitoring for machine learning workflows.
• Take on leadership roles in technical projects, working closely with different teams and helping coordinate efforts like data annotation and quality assurance to move products forward.

Lilith: Rise Of The Fallen

Master's Degree Thesis Project - Unreal Engine 5

An action roguelike where you corrupt the environment to gain power, built with a team of over 20 people.

Main achievements:
• Set up and maintained Perforce repository and Jenkins build pipeline.
• Designed code architecture using Gameplay Ability System and event-driven patterns.
• Built enemy spawning, and pathfinding, and improved AI controller.
• Implemented player abilities: Dash, Gluttony, and Greed.
• Implemented stochastic cellular automata on a hexagonal grid for corruption spreading.
• Built the full progression system, along with the game's UI with custom navigation.
• Handled game optimization, both on the graphics and logic side.
• Integrated FMOD for audio, with a component pooling system.

Gou

Atmospheric Horror Game - Unity

Started as a Mini Jam 182: Horror entry, now expanding it into a full game. It's an atmospheric horror side-scroller set in feudal Japan. Working on improving the lighting, audio, AI logic, and adding more content.

CHIP-8 Emulator

Built from scratch in C++, using SDL2.

A complete CHIP-8 emulator with accurate instruction execution, sound generation, and support for different ROM types. Includes compatibility options for COSMAC VIP and Commodore Amiga variants. It was a fun project to learn about low-level system emulation.

Global Game Jam 2024 - Unity
A horror game set in a flooded mall, inspired by liminal spaces and the backrooms. I worked on core gameplay mechanics, level design, and atmosphere.

Get Out of My Dungeon!

GMTK Game Jam 2023 - Unity
A reverse dungeon crawler where you play as the dungeon master defending against heroes. I implemented the AI pathfinding and worked on the level editing.

Bachelor's Thesis - Unity (Honors)
A survival game prototype about resource management. I received honors for the thesis, in which I covered the solo videogame development process.

An arcade game where you control gravity, inspired by Flappy Bird, with a big focus on gamefeel.
It was the first game I published!
